170+ dB SPL with a 60Ah SCiB Bank and Sound Digital 20K
This high-output SPL vehicle uses an Evolution Lithium 60Ah SCiB LTO bank built from 3Ah Toshiba cells to support a Sound Digital 20K RMS amplifier and a system that has reached more than 170 dB.

The 170+ dB Electrical Setup
Built to Back a Serious 20K System
A 170+ dB build needs more than a big amplifier. When the system is played hard, the battery bank has to supply current quickly, keep voltage up and recover fast once the run is over.
The 3Ah Toshiba SCiB cells are rated at 40C continuous discharge, giving this 60Ah bank 2,400A of continuous discharge capability. That gives the Sound Digital 20K a serious electrical foundation, but the alternator, charging voltage, cable size, grounds and fusing still decide how the full system performs.
This is the kind of setup for bassheads who want a bank that is ready for heavy demos and hard SPL runs, not just a battery with a big Ah number on the label.
