Why the 30Ah SCiB Works with an 8K System
Evolution Lithium uses a 40C continuous design rate for its 3Ah SCiB cells. A 30Ah bank therefore has a calculated 1,200A design-current capability. That figure is a bank-current reference, not a guaranteed amplifier-wattage claim: cabling, fusing, charging voltage, installation and the complete electrical system still determine real results.
For a high-demand system, the practical goal is stable voltage support under transient load and rapid recharge when the charging system is correctly configured. Steve’s build also uses an active balancer, a digital display, vehicle DC-to-DC charging and a home charging power supply as part of its particular setup.
